Laura, I love what you are doing here, the photos are lovely too. Might I suggest you write a little about your experience of baby-led weaning? My experience so surprised me. With the first child I did the conventional thing, but the second one helped herself off my plate (while nursing on my lap!). Her very first food was a chip, though not quite what I’d planned – as we were out travelling at the time and sitting on a park bench. But from then on she just ate what we were eating. I had no idea a child with few teeth (at 5 months) could manage whole food, but (I guessed all her teeth were in her gums and she used them) I was so happy not to be making special baby food ever again!
